Description Manage and maintain financial records with accuracy and confidentiality. The role-holder will be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day accounting functions and therefore have a broad range of tasks and responsibilities which will be varied. The main duties will be: Raising of invoices to customers Bank Reconciliations Processing of supplier invoices, both purchase ledger and sub-contractors Monitoring the emails received by the department, actioning or distributing as necessary Creation of weekly and monthly supplier payment reports Recording of data for inclusion in monthly payroll, and providing cover for payroll processing Maintenance of fixed asset registers and posting depreciation Assistance with internal reporting as requiredProfile A successful Finance Assistant should have: A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
