Middleweight Designer /Creative Artworker Location: Outskirts Leeds What is the role? Invigorate Recruitment is working with an exceptional brand who are looking for someone remarkable to join their Creative team in the role as Middleweight Designer/ Creative Artworker. This exciting hands-on role will help in delivering first class design solutions for all marketing communications materials to promote the company content (catalogue spreads, printed brochures, POS, exhibition panels and occasional online material for the web team). You must be able to manage numerous briefs and requests, all with varying degrees of priority and deadline constraints; must be unflappable and able to multi-task. You must have a can do mindset where you are prepared to see a job through to its completion and within the stated deadline. Main Duties & Overall Responsibilities: Creating fast and accurate paste ups for the books/re-sizes/re-versions/multiples of existing artwork; especially artwork for the books we produce. Work with the Creative Head and Studio Manager to deliver work of a high standard both creatively and from a repro perspective, maintaining a good working relationship with the team and various other departments that you will deal with throughout the business Designing of print, and digital campaigns including creating key art for our programmes; brochures; promos; advertising and website interface. Technical knowledge required: You will have good knowledge of print techniques and be mindful of budget restrictions and print lead times. Relevant commercial graphic design/web or multimedia design experience is essential Current knowledge of internet technologies, standards, and methodologies Confident user of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop Experience using Adobe After Effects would be advantageous Personal skills required. Ability to manage numerous briefs and requests, all with varying degrees of priority and deadline constraints; must be unflappable and able to multi-task Excellent communications skills are key; you will be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing at all levels You must be a team player; willing to collaborate and share ideas, as well as receive feedback from colleagues to develop creative output to further improve work standards for the department.
