The company currently has vacancies for a Chief Officer in its SOV fleet.
Immediate start date (latest 27/05/2025). 4 weeks on/off rotation. Permanent contract.
Candidates must hold a minimum Chief Officer CoC and DPO certificate. Previous experience on SOV vessels is preferred.

Chief Officer Responsibilities
* Deputising for the Master in their absence on board.
* Safe navigation of the vessel during watch hours.
* Ensuring the safe and efficient running of the Deck Department (role may be delegated on certain ship classes).
* Managing vessel stability during cargo operations and ship management.
* Liaising with client management onboard regarding cargo and vessel operations.
* Assigning duties to crew members.
* Maintaining marine safety equipment.
* Coordinating firefighting responses and overseeing internal firefighting activities onboard as required.
* Conducting vessel inspections per Safety Inspection Programme and reporting defects to the Chief Engineer.
* Investigating accidents, incidents, or near misses, and reporting findings to the Master and QHSE Department.
* Acting as Shipboard Safety Officer (may be delegated depending on ship class).
* Promoting and implementing the company's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
* Fostering inter-departmental communication.
