Job Title: Face to Face Punjabi (Indian) Interpreter – Barton-Upon-Humber and Surrounding Areas
Job Type: Freelance / Self-Employed

Responsibilities
* Interpreting conversations for individuals accessing public services (e.g. legal, health, and local authority services)
* Ensuring clarity and understanding after each statement or question
* Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion
* Acting as a liaison between service users and service providers
Common Settings
* Hospitals, clinics, and GP surgeries
* Social care and child welfare meetings
* Schools and other educational institutions
* Legal appointments and court sessions
* Housing offices and council departments
* Business and private sector engagements
What We’re Looking For
* Fluency in English and at least one other language
* Hold a DPSI, Community Interpreting qualification, or other interpreting-related qualification
* A valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
* Legal right to work in the UK
