We are looking for passionate, hard-working people to join our award-winning Healthcare and Nursing assistants’ team and help us make a positive difference in people’s lives every day. The successful candidate will provide essential support and direct care for all aspects of a service user's assessed needs in their own home.

Please note that we are not accepting overseas applications as this position requires immediate action.
We have stopped offering sponsorship; however, we will consider applicants looking to work their optional 20 hours with us.

About Community Lifeline
We have been a family-owned company specialising in Domiciliary Care since 1995. Our services include Holistic Care; Personal, Learning, and Physical Disability Care; Dementia Care; Stoma Care; Palliative Care, End-of-Life Care, PEG feeds, and Nursing Assistance Care.
We aim to provide a high level of person-centred and professional services by Putting People First. One of our carers won the KiCA Kent Care Award in 2021 for doing just that, and we’ve been finalists every year since. Requirements

1. Available to work one shift every other weekend
2. A right to work in the UK
3. You don’t need to have previous experience in care work, but if you do, we offer fast-track induction training for those who qualify. T’s and C’s apply.
4. A caring manner and commitment to helping people
5. Be friendly, kind, and considerate
6. Communicates effectively and responsively
7. Able to uphold dignity, respect, independence, and confidentiality
8. Good at listening and understanding body language
9. Work well within a team that can motivate each other
10. We are committed to safeguarding. An enhanced DBS is required for this post, and applicants must be willing to undertake a DBS check

Key Responsibilities
11. Ensure Community Lifeline runs smoothly by clearly communicating and liaising with the office staff regarding your attendance, travel, and responsibilities
12. Complete any training that is given
13. Read care plans carefully and be aware of an individual’s needs
14. Care plans and visit details are reviewed on a platform which you are trained to use, so you can be safe in the knowledge that you are providing the best possible support
15. Write accurate, honest, and correct reports
16. Provide emotional, mental, social, and physical support; we promote holistic wellbeing
17. Assist in personal care such as washing, dressing, personal hygiene, and medication
18. Assist with nutrition/ hydration needs, such as preparing meals and drinks, assisting those unable to feed themselves, and ensuring each client receives quality meals or diets they have requested and are suitable for their needs
19. Assist with mobility, including the appropriate use of equipment such as hoists and standing aids
20. We have also recently started offering Personalised Nail Care! If you have professional nail care experience, please include this in your application

Pay
31. Salary from £13.20 to £13.75** **per hour, inclusive of Discretionary Bonus
32. Paid holidays
33. Separate rate on Bank Holidays
34. Special Rate on Christmas Day
35. Tax-exempt mileage allowance of 30p per mile between client homes
