Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Hanslope Park (with frequent overseas travel)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, planning, and delivery of complex electrical and security projects. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed scope and quality standards. You will also contribute to bid preparation for new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead electrical design, maintenance, and management of projects from inception to completion, including design, tendering, on-site supervision, and handover.
Manage multi-disciplinary teams (internal and external consultants) and engage with customers, stakeholders, and end-users throughout the project lifecycle.
Define and capture client requirements, ensuring solutions meet objectives and compliance standards.
Conduct electrical peer reviews for M&E designs, ensuring adherence to IET regulations, Electricity at Work Act, and other applicable standards.
Deliver projects aligned with RIBA Stages 0-7 and maintain close collaboration with the Professional Head of Electrical Engineering.
Coordinate with in-house technical leads, architects, surveyors, structural engineers, and overseas consultants to ensure seamless integration of all construction and maintenance aspects.
Support contract administration and provide technical guidance on electrical policies and standards.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Degree-level qualification in Electrical Engineering (Level 6 or equivalent).
Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status (IEng or CEng).
Membership of a professional engineering body (e.g., IET).
Practical knowledge of RIBA design stages and experience in building services electrical design.
Proven ability to lead design and/or construction teams.
Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation, CDM regulations, and Electricity at Work Regulations.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Trimble) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).
Desirable
Authorised Person (Low Voltage) experience.
Knowledge of generator systems and NEC4 contracts.
Overseas project experience.
Electrical testing qualification (e.g., C&G 2391).
Additional Information
Frequent overseas travel is required, sometimes at short notice. Trips may range from 1-2 days to 2-3 weeks depending on project complexity and location
