Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing techniques, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Staff will be require to work away Sunday to Friday at our sites over the UK.
Duties
* Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fittings, and fixtures in various plumbing systems.
* Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
* Use hand tools and power tools effectively to perform plumbing tasks.
* Assemble and weld pipes as needed for repairs or installations.
* Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move equipment or materials.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to complete projects efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Apply basic maths skills to measure and calculate necessary materials for jobs.
* Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role is preferred.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
* Valid commercial driving licence is an advantage but not essential.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job demands.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
* A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
