Health Business Centre Advisor Pay : £13.05 per hour Working pattern: 37 hours per week, Mon-Fri Location: Community Health Business Centre, Ipswich, IP4 4ER Hybrid working with Thursdays and Fridays mandatory office attendance Additional office attendance may be required during onboarding/training Length: 6 months Opus People Solutions are proud to be recruiting on behalf of Suffolk County Council an experienced Business Support Officer to join their Health Business Centre. This is a fast-paced, corporate-facing administrative role supporting internal teams across a large service (approx. 500 staff). You'll play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly by coordinating processes, managing systems, and ensuring everything is organised and on track. What You'll Be Doing Coordinating a wide range of administrative activities across services Managing inboxes, responding to queries, and chasing actions confidently by phone and email Organising room bookings, diaries, and internal schedules Supporting 29 Family Hubs with logistics such as room setup, catering, and planning Coordinating PAT testing, car checks, IT servicing, and general operational tasks Processing orders, paying invoices, and maintaining accurate records Producing basic reports and extracting data from systems Working heavily with Word, Excel, and Outlook on a daily basis Supporting both clinical and non-clinical teams with business support What We're Looking For Strong experience in administration / business support roles Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel essential) Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment Confident communicator-comfortable chasing stakeholders and handling calls Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy Experience managing inboxes and coordinating workloads Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with SystmOne (desirable) Why Apply?
