We are looking for full-time workers; however, part-time may be considered depending on experience. Hours of work: Monday Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm and alternate Saturday 9.00am - 1.00pm THE ROLE As part of parts driver support, you use the company van to collect and deliver vehicle parts across the province. You will plan and coordinate parts sales to meet customer requirements and maximise sales volumes and margins. The role involves:- Delivering vehicle parts to our trade customers across the province Collecting vehicle parts from suppliers across the province Optimising sales opportunities with trade customers Organise most economic and efficient delivery routes In addition to the above tasks, you may be required to: Carrying out daily / weekly stock checking Systematically arranging the parts in the stock room Assisting with the pre-picking of parts for internal service workshop team THE PERSON The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and have a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. It is essential for the successful candidate to have a valid, clean driving licence, as you may be required to deliver parts to our customers. We will prioritise applicants who have prior experience in a similar role within the motor industry. We may, however, consider applicants with previous customer-facing experience from other industries who have knowledge / an interest in vehicle layout, function and location of required parts for service and common repairs. A willingness to learn is vital to the role, as full training will be provided to the right individual.
