Overview
We are looking to appoint a new Teaching Assistant at Mildenhall College Academy. The ideal candidate will strive to share their passion for education with our students and join our dedicated team to uphold the Academy’s vision and values.
Responsibilities
* Support teaching and learning by establishing supportive relationships with students, helping to raise their self-esteem and develop a positive attitude to learning within a secondary Academy.
* Work with students in the classroom to ensure they are making progress academically, socially, and emotionally.
* Use initiative and be proactive in supporting students with varied needs.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to use own initiative.
* Previous experience in an educational establishment is desirable but not essential.
* This role requires a grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Maths.
Contract and Benefits
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 24 hours per week / 4 days per week / 39 weeks per year
NJC Scale: 2 - 4
Actual Salary: £13,620 - £14,050 / FTE Salary: £24,412 - £25,184
