The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, working with pupils of mixed abilities including those with additional needs. Role Responsibilities: Support class teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences Deliver small group interventions and 1:1 sessions where required Plan and lead learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff Provide in-class support to ensure inclusion and differentiated learning Work collaboratively with SENCO and teaching teams to support pupils with additional needs Monitor, assess and record pupil progress, feeding back to staff and parents when appropriate Cover lessons as needed in the absence of the class teacher (within HLTA remit) The Ideal Candidate Will: Hold HLTA status or an equivalent recognised Level 4 qualification (or be working towards it) Have recent experience working in a UK school setting - independent school experience is a bonus Be confident leading groups or whole classes Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills Show flexibility, initiative, and a calm, positive attitude Have experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) - desirable but not essential Possess a strong understanding of safeguarding and child development Why Join This School?
