Key Responsibilities:
As a Refurbishment Technician, handyman and painter & decorator, you’ll play a key role in preparing and improving the apartments for new tenants:
11. Carry out painting, decorating and minor plastering works as a skilled painter & decorator
12. Complete general repairs including carpentry and basic plumbing as a multi-skilled handyman
13. Support furniture movement, assembly, and installations
14. Perform daily water checks and flushing activities
15. Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs as a competent handyman
16. Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks across the estate
17. Work across trades in a flexible handyman and painter & decorator capacity
18. Accurately record work using systems and documentation
19. Maintain clean and safe working environments
20. Support and oversee subcontractors when required
21. Follow all health & safety procedures at all times
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a capable Refurbishment Technician with a strong handyman and painter & decorator background:
22. Previous experience as a handyman or multi-trade operative
23. Strong skills as a painter & decorator
24. Good working knowledge of general maintenance tasks
25. Ability to diagnose issues and work independently
26. A flexible and proactive approach to work
27. Good attention to detail and organisation
28. Understanding of health & safety practices
