We have an exciting opportunity to work as part of an effective maintenance team within Devonshire Hotels and Restaurants Group, part of the wider Chatsworth Estates Group, in the Peak District of Derbyshire. Assisting the Maintenance Manager with carrying out property maintenance tasks, you will need hands on experience in a variety of all-round trades such as basic plumbing & electrics, tiling, decorating, joinery, general repairs and record keeping to ensure the smooth operation of our properties. You must have a keen eye for detail, work to exacting standards, often without supervision, using initiative but with reference to our comprehensive Group safety requirements and be able to finish tasks within limited timeframes. There will be opportunities for further skills training and qualifications appropriate to the role. The properties are situated on the picturesque Chatsworth Estate in the small villages of Beeley and Pilsley, plus a number of our Chatsworth Escapes Holiday Cottages scattered throughout the estate. As well as, our newly acquired hotel located at Eastmoor. There are great road links to the surrounding towns of Matlock, Bakewell and Chesterfield as well as many others.
