Due to the preferences of our clients, we are currently recruiting for female Children Support Workers who must be able to drive, with use of their own vehicle for work purposes and business insurance.
You will be a pivotal part of supporting your specific clients with achieving their personal goals and supporting them to undertake activities they enjoy.
As a Children’s Support Worker you will be providing support to a small group of clients on a regular basis. You will be trained specifically in your client needs. We provide support on a two to one and a one to one ratio within BLOCK hours from 4 hours- 12 hours at any one time.
The support needs of our clients vary. Some of the aspects of care and support you will be supporting with are personal care, moving & handling, eating & drinking (specialised feeding techniques) and medication administration.
You will be supporting your clients by accompanying and supporting them to undertake activities they enjoy. Some of the activities are bowling, swimming, shopping, visiting the park, seaside visits.
A vital part of being a Children’s Support Worker for Caremark Rotherham & Sheffield is ensuring the client you are supporting is actively engaged, providing clients with the upmost care and support throughout their visits.
All Support Workers will receive FULL Training for each individual client’s needs, preferences and will be continuously supported throughout your role by our Case leaders and Clinical Leads.
Our service requires you to be RELIABE, PUNCTUAL, TRUSTWORTHY and able to communicate effectively. This is important so Support Workers can build a rapport with their client.
