For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of RN experience and $20,000 for RN with more than 2 years of experience!
* Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a full- or part-time RN position. Bonus amount is prorated for part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible.
* Current MaineHealth employee members are ineligible; former members are ineligible until more than 6 months of separation from employment.
* Waldo Hospital is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Belfast, Maine. Waldo County General Hospital was awarded the Leapfrog Top Rural Hospital Award in 2020. It is part of the Coastal Healthcare Alliance and the MaineHealth system.
Summary:
The Surgical Clinical Care Coordinator RN works collaboratively with leadership to provide operational guidance and direction to nursing staff, overseeing patient flow and nursing care management.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date. Certification in area of specialty required or must be obtained within one year of start date or per department guidelines.
3. Experience: Three years of experience in the specialty preferred. Two years of charge nurse and/or leadership experience preferred.
