Actual Salary from: £30,000 – £46,525 (Points M1-U3)
Start Date: September 2024
The Role
We wish to recruit an enthusiastic and excellent teacher of science. You will work alongside the Head of Science and the rest of the department to continue the development of our provision.
We are seeking somebody who has experience of teaching GCSE in the last three years. The current approach is for teachers to teach one group per year; this means that experience teaching KS4 Biology, Chemistry and Physics is essential.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate ‘outstanding practice’ in their own teaching.

The position will suit an experienced or newly qualified teacher.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils
* Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
* Plan and teach well-structured lessons
* Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils

We're looking for you if you have:
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Teaching within the subject area in Key Stages 3 and 4
* Knowledge of the National Curriculum for their subject
* Willingness to keep up to date in subject knowledge and national developments.
