ABOUT THE ROLE Location: Regent Street (London) Status: Full Time, Part Time, Semi-Time Compensation: Competitive ABOUT THE ROLE Position Summary: The Bartender is an essential partner in the guest’s dining experience. They will have an immediate impact on the overall experience, by not only directly servicing any guest(s) sitting around the bar area, but by also creating beverages that exceed all expectations. Using their bartending experience, they will execute all menu items, including but not limited to alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The Bartender will continuously partner with all Front of House, Back of House, and Management teams, to ensure a seamless dining experience for all our guests. The Bartender will not only become an expert on all in-house beverage options, but they will also familiarize themselves with all menu items, to address any guest inquiries. RESPONSIBILITIES Primary Responsibilities: Welcomes all guests and informs them of any specials, new menu items, while answering any questions they may have. Preparing all ingredients required for all beverage options on the menu, including but not limited to coffee(s), tea(s), juices, alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Maintaining a clean, organized, and sterilized countertop and bar area. Serve any guest(s) sitting around the bar/countertop area, while preparing all beverage orders placed by the Front of House team. Remain educated on all food and beverage offerings on our menu, including individual ingredients to ensure potential allergens are communicated with all guests. Continuously manage and maintain physical inventories of all beverage options as well as required ingredients, to prevent any possible sell-through. Immediately address any customer issues, questions, and overall comments. They will properly partner with the Management team to address any matters that they are unable to resolve on their own for the guest(s). Effectively communicate any inventory needs, maintenance issues or overall concerns with the Management team. Special Projects/Tasks: Assist with the planning and execution of any on/off-site events, including but not limited to pop-up events, private guest’s events held outside of normal business hours. Assist in maintaining a safe and organized café, by completing any standard cleaning procedures commonly associated with a food & beverage outpost. REQUIREMENTS Availability: Open & flexible availability, including but not limited to evenings, overnights, and weekends as well as holidays. Availability to consistently work weekends, special projects, drops/releases or as the business’ needs require. Licenses/Certificates: Valid Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate/License is preferred but not required. Experience: 2 years in the Food & Beverage industry 1 year(s) of Bartending experience 2 years in a high-volume customer facing role 1 years processing cash and card transactions through a POS system Skills & Abilities: Multi-tasking while maintaining an upbeat and professional demeanor Ability to lift and move 25lbs. Ability to perform standard tasks that are related to retail operations including but not limited to, bending, twisting, and climbing ladders/step stools. Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
