Section Foreman - Piling & Infrastructure Works
Location: Norwich
Schedule: Monday to Friday (10 hours a shift)
Pay Rate: £26.90 per hour
Overtime:
* 1.33 × hourly rate for hours worked over 10 per day
* 1.5 × hourly rate on weekends
We are looking for an experienced Section Foreman to oversee piling and infrastructure works, including the construction of two new free-flowing slip roads. This role will involve managing a section of works, coordinating with site teams, and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate site activities within your section of work
* Oversee piling operations and related infrastructure tasks
* Manage the construction of two new slip roads, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and specifications
* Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Ensure health and safety procedures are implemented and followed
* Monitor progress, quality, and resource allocation
* Provide clear daily briefings and progress updates to the site manager
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Section Foreman on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
* Strong knowledge of piling works and road construction methods
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* CSCS Gold or Black card and SSSTS/SMSTS qualification preferred
* Strong focus on health, safety, and quality
