Role Overview
As the Production Supervisor at Cornflower, working with the General Manager, you will help to oversee the daily activities of assemblers and in-house print production staff, ensuring a smooth flow of work. The role is central to delivering projects on time, efficiently, and to Cornflower's high standards. You will coordinate teams, manage resources, and uphold quality across all stages of production.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate daily tasks among assemblers and print production staff, as well as a hands-on approach. to fill-in where required.
* Manage production planning: assign tasks, monitor progress, troubleshoot delays, and reallocate resources as required.
* Ensure all output adheres to Cornflower's quality standards, conducting checks and guiding corrective actions.
* Foster collaboration between departments to minimise bottlenecks and streamline workflow.
* Monitor team performance, encourage accountability, and provide day-to-day leadership.
* Adhere to safety, compliance, and operational procedures.
* Support training and development of production and finishing staff.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven supervisory experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
* Experience in print production and/or print finishing would be an advantage.
* Familiarity with print finishing processes (cutting, binding, lamination, etc.) beneficial.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Quality-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
* Flexible and adaptable to changing production requirements.
