As a vital member of our dynamic and expanding team, you will be responsible for making a wide range of high-quality and highly accurate solid chemical products, and packing goods ready for dispatch, ensuring H&S is adhered to at all times. You will also be expected to assemble dissolving equipment to a high standard following a precise specification and complete testing on the equipment once it has been assembled.
Responsibilities
· Operating machinery in factory environment to mix/blend chemicals products, following strict guidelines.
· Packing and labelling of chemical products on production line.
· Maintaining a high level of housekeeping - managing waste effectively including correct disposal of chemicals; and using packing materials efficiently to reduce waste and costs.
· Co-ordination of goods in and goods out of warehouse.
· Follow company operating procedures – adhering to our ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 policies.
· Assembling equipment to a high standard following detailed specification guides.
· Testing of the equipment once it has been fully assembled.
· Use of IT applications such as Microsoft Office to process work orders and other relevant technology and systems to ensure the safe and efficient processing of goods.
· Effective and professional communication with colleagues at all times.
· Constant adherence to Health & Safety regulations.
· Providing updates/reporting any issues or concerns to the Operations Director.
· Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse as part of the daily routine. Overseeing and coordinating product quality control checks.
· Operating Forklift trucks in a safe manner (FLT training can be provided if needed).
Production Operator Skills and Competencies
● Competent and confident in operating machinery and equipment. ● Ideally have experience in Chemical manufacturing, mechanical or electrical assembly (however this is not essential). ● Must be able to follow written work instructions and guidelines.
● Computer literate, with experience in the use of Microsoft office. ● Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines.
● Ability to work as part of a team.

Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
