Your Responsibilities
As our new Year 4 Teacher, you will:
✅ Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and the statutory requirements for Year 4.
✅ Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that motivates Year 4 pupils to achieve their best.
✅ Support Year 4 pupils as they develop key skills and knowledge for Key Stage 2 success.
✅ Use effective assessment and data to track progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
✅ Foster pupils’ critical thinking, resilience, and independence in learning.
✅ Work closely with parents and carers to support Year 4 children’s academic and personal development.
✅ Collaborate with the Key Stage 2 team to share best practice and develop innovative teaching approaches.
What We’re Looking For
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
✔ Experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 4.
✔ Strong knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum and progression through Key Stage 2.
✔ Creative, reflective, and child-centred teaching approach.
✔ Excellent communication and teamwork skills to build strong relationships with Year 4 pupils, parents, and colleagues.
✔ Commitment to providing high-quality education and meeting the needs of all Year 4 learners.
