<div><h3>QHSE Coordinator</h3><p>Location: Telford</p><p>Duration: Permanent</p><p>Salary: up to £36,000 per annum (d.o.e)</p><p>Hours: Monday - Friday days (early finish on a Friday)</p><p>Benefits: Enhanced annual leave, Bonus, Pension, + access to other perks and rewards</p><p>We are working with our well-established global client based in Telford who currently have a fantastic opportunity to join their team as a QHSE Officer. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental management systems across two UK sites. This is a hands‑on, operational role suited to a proactive individual who enjoys balancing compliance, continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.</p><p>Reporting into senior UK leadership and working closely with site managers and the Quality Administrator, the QHSE Officer will play a key role in maintaining ISO‑aligned systems, promoting a positive safety culture and supporting ongoing business improvement.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Overseeing the ongoing operation and enhancement of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 frameworks, taking responsibility for all QHSE documentation governance and control</li><li>Leading engagement with external auditors, carrying out internal audits, coordinating corrective actions and contributing to the delivery of formal QHSE Management Reviews</li><li>Managing Health & Safety and Environmental legal compliance registers, keeping abreast of legislative updates and acting as a liaison with enforcement and regulatory bodies</li><li>Producing review and roll out risk assessments and COSHH documentation, investigating incidents and near misses, and providing support for contractor safety processes including RAMS</li><li>Supporting site inspections, audit programmes and emergency response planning, ensuring appropriate provision and management of PPE, first aid and spill control measures</li><li>Gathering, interpreting and reporting on environmental and sustainability metrics, including waste, energy, emissions, CO₂ data (Scope 1, 2 and applicable Scope 3) and Consent to Discharge requirements</li><li>Developing QHSE performance reporting, site communications and KPIs, delivering toolbox talks, contributing to cross‑functional working groups and driving continuous improvement activity</li></ul><h3>Skills and Experience</h3><ul><li>Previous experience in a QHSE / QUESH / EHS / HSEQ / SHEQ role ideally from within a busy manufacturing or industrial environment</li><li>NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)</li><li>Strong working knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation and ISO‑aligned management systems</li><li>Full UK driving licence essential</li></ul><h3>Equal Opportunities</h3><p>We are committed to providing a barrier‑free recruitment process, supporting an equal, diverse and inclusive workforce.
