The Exciting Role A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Lecturer in Health & Social Care to join our passionate and high-performing team on a full-time, permanent basis.As part of this role, you will be teaching on a variety of study programmes. This includes: Level 1, 2 and 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care and our T-Level in Health programme which features three distinctive pathways (Adult Nursing, Mental Health and Midwifery). Therefore, a candidate with a background in a clinical role (such as Nursing or Midwifery), or a specialism in Biology would be preferred for this role however, applications from all Health & Social Care backgrounds are welcome.The successful candidate will be primarily based at Nelson & Colne College but may be required to travel across sites. This post could suit an experienced practitioner looking for their next challenge, a newly qualified teacher looking to make their mark within an Outstanding organisation, or a talented aspiring trainee teacher looking for support with their teaching qualification. If you are applying as a trainee teacher, the College’s Trainee Teacher programme will include funding for your teaching qualification, as well as mentoring support and coaching from our experienced team. In addition, the DfE Taking Teaching Further funding also offers eligible recruits* a £6,000 incentive payment.
