Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Teacher to join our small team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a strong background in swimming. As a Swim teacher, you will play a vital role in helping individuals of all ages develop their swimming skills, ensuring they feel safe and confident in the water. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans tailored to various skill levels, fostering a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
* Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups of varying ages and skill levels.
* Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the specific needs of each student.
* Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
* Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons by enforcing pool rules and regulations.
* Maintain a clean and organised teaching environment, including the pool area and equipment.
* Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress and any concerns.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance teaching techniques.
Working Hours- Term time only
* Tuesdays: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
* Wednesdays: 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM
* Thursdays: 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM
Requirements
* Swim England Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification
* Current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
* RLSS Teacher Rescue Award
* Previous experience teaching children in a pool setting
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Friendly, professional, and approachable manner

Pay: £18.00-£20.00 per hour
