Job Title: Graduate Civil Engineer Location: Berkshire Job Purpose To support the design, development, and delivery of civil engineering projects across a range of sectors. The role provides exposure to all stages of project work, from feasibility and design through to construction and maintenance. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of designs, calculations, drawings, and technical reports. Support site inspections, surveys, and supervision of construction activities. Work with multidisciplinary teams including architects, contractors, and other engineers. Use industry-standard software for analysis, design, and drafting (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, STAAD, etc. depending on company focus). Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving and decision-making. Maintain project documentation and records in line with company and client requirements. Undertake continuous professional development (CPD) with a view to achieving chartered status (ICE/IStructE or equivalent). Qualifications & Skills Essential: BEng/MEng (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering (accredited by ICE/IStructE preferred). Strong technical knowledge in core civil engineering principles.
