Customer Services Exec - Doncaster - up to £30k plus bonus
Our client is a growing local manufacturer focused on delivering the best service and products to customers in a range of sectors. They need a professional and capable individual to be the first point of contact, handling inquiries, resolving complaints, providing product and service information and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
* Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email and live chat.
* Provide accurate information regarding products, services and pricing.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through courteous and empathetic interactions.
* Investigate and resolve customer complaints, escalating complex issues to relevant departments and maintaining ownership of the customer experience.
* Recommend process improvements for ongoing issues.
* Manage customer orders, returns, exchanges, cancellations and refunds, coordinating with logistics, sales, finance and technical teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2-3 years experience in customer service, internal sales operations, customer support or a related role; experience using CRM systems preferred.
* Excellent communication and computer skills; fully competent with MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Good level of maths and English; formal qualification in Business Administration, Communications, Sales or a related field is desirable but not essential.
* Enthusiasm, commitment and positivity are essential.
Benefits & Working Conditions
* Salary up to £30,000 plus company profit‑share bonus paid quarterly.
* 39 hours per week (7.30 am – 4.30 pm, Monday to Thursday; 7.30 am – 2.30 pm Friday).
* Breaks: 40 minutes for lunch Monday to Thursday, 20 minutes on Friday.
* Holiday allowance: 25 days plus statutory holidays (usually 8).
