A market leading organisation in the UK&I manufacturing and services sector is seeking a Finance Manager to join its high performing finance team.
This role sits at the operational centre of the organisation, partnering closely with the General Manager, Operations, Supply and Commercial teams. It blends hands on financial control with genuine business partnering, commercial analysis and decision support.

The Opportunity
As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the full financial management of the site, including:
Core Finance & Controls
* Leading month‑end and year‑end close, including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
* Producing timely, accurate monthly financial statements and reporting packs
* Maintaining strong financial control across stock, purchasing and cost management
* Supporting statutory accounts preparation, audit processes and internal controls
Commercial Finance & Business Partnering
* Translating sales forecasts into cost, pricing and stock projections
* Supporting tenders, contract extensions and new product introductions through costings and margin simulations
* Providing analysis to drive operational improvements, cost savings and project evaluation
* Working with the buying team on pricing structures, deal management and cost movements
* Maintaining pricing and master data within the ERP system
* Delivering insight on deal performance, inventory development and key supply chain KPIs
Strategic Influence
* Acting as a trusted partner to the General Manager, bringing clarity, challenge and objectivity to decision making
* Supporting capex proposals, investment tracking and ROI analysis
* Championing best practice across processes, reporting and financial governance
What You’ll Bring
* Strong grounding in accounting principles and financial control
* Proven experience influencing decision making and partnering with non finance stakeholders
* Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
* Experience in FMCG or manufacturing is advantageous, particularly costing
* Dynamics 365
* Advanced Excel skills and confidence with integrated ERP systems
* A positive, resilient and collaborative approach
