Your new role
We are looking for an experienced Sourcing Specialist to join our growing team. This is a key role supporting our engineers by sourcing unique, high-qualityponents for specialist robotic systems. You will research off-the-shelf solutions, manage suppliers, and ensurepliance with strict safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work closely with design engineers to understand technical requirements.
2. Source one-off and low-volumeponents for electrical, hydraulic, pumping, and industrial vacuum systems.
3. Research and identify innovative off-the-shelf solutions forplex engineering challenges.
4. Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, lead times, and terms.
5. Ensure allponents meet ATEX Zone 0 and relevantpliance standards.
6. Maintain accurate procurement records and manage delivery timelines.
What you'll need to succeed
7. Experience: 3+ years in technical, sourcing or procurement in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
8. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and industrial equipment.
9. Excellent research, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
10. Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams and solve problems creatively.
11. Degree or certification in engineering.
12. Experience with robotic systems or specialist industrial equipment.
13. Familiarity with ATEX-ratedponents andpliance requirements.
