Be among the first 25 applicants. As a Warehouse Operative for Ocado Logistics, you will help prepare orders for customers at our Erith warehouse in a state-of-the-art facility.
We have a variety of areas and shift options available to help you plan your work-life balance. You will receive your work pattern 6–13 weeks in advance.
Areas and responsibilities
* Despatch – Load totes into frames for delivery vans and sort/organise totes returning to site. This is a physical role requiring the ability to lift heavy totes.
* Pick – Pick and pack customer orders into shopping totes with care; assistance from robots is available.
* Inbound – Receive goods from suppliers and place into totes for robots and pickers.
* Freezer – Pick and pack frozen items in a large freezer at temperatures up to -25℃. Full gear is provided.
Shift times
* Days Pick/Freezer – 06:00 – 15:00 – 4 days
* Nights Pick/Freezer – 18:00 – 06:00 – 4 nights
* Days Despatch – 06:00 – 17:00 – 4 days
* Nights Despatch – 19:00 – 06:00 – 4 nights
* Days Inbound – 06:00 – 16:00 – 4 days
* Nights Inbound – 18:00 – 06:00 – 4 nights
Salary and benefits
* Basic rate: £12.46 per hour
* Night shift premium (midnight–06:00): +£2.67 per hour
* Freezer premium: £1.10 per hour
* Overtime paid at basic x 1.25
