Input on projects, using sound technical competencies. Produce engineering designs, specifications and documentation. Assist in the preparation of operating and maintenance manuals. Assist sales and marketing in the preparation of quotes and proposals. Provide offsite engineering support. Provide customer support. Provide technical support to the production, logistics and integration departments. Work within the requirements of company procedures and national/international regulations. Experience needed to be successful:- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related/equivalent subject Sound Mechanical engineering knowledge. 3D CAD modelling using Solidworks & PDM Finite Element Analysis using Ansys and/or SolidWorks Simulation. Structural analysis including hand calculations. Mechanical assembly techniques and maintenance. Inspection, testing and certification requirements. Completing and checking designs and documentation.
