Archive Project Manager (Hall Marks) | 8488 | Fixed Term Contract until 28 February 2027 | 29.6 hours per week | £36,124 to £37,938 per annum pro rata (Scale I) | Norwich
The Norfolk Record Office is looking for someone to manage its exciting project. Using the Office’s extensive archival collections, the project will look at the impact of Norfolk’s lost estates, of which there are over a hundred. Using lost country houses and their estates as a starting point, the project will also support the public to research a home of any size, land or local area and to a improve access to a key resource for such research. The project’s main funder is The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the project, including reporting to funders and other stakeholders, managing risk, managing the project team and contractors, and managing the project budget. You will also ensure timely delivery of project outputs which include the delivery of workshops, hosting an exhibition, developing digital resources, and significant volunteer projects.
We are looking for someone with experience of delivering projects in a heritage, academic, or similar environment. You must be able to work collaboratively and have strong communication and organisational skills.
