Within our Facilities Management division, the small works team plays a crucial role in the day-to-day delivery of planned minor works across diverse properties and systems within our client's sites.
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our South East project Fabric team, responsible for responsive repairs and minor refurbishments across various contracts. This mobile role involves working across multiple sites in London, Surrey, and occasionally Kent, with projects lasting 2/3 days to a week at each site.
Responsibilities
* Basic building maintenance and repairs (painting, decorating, tiling, plastering, etc.)
* Timber & UPVC door and window installation/repairs
* Standard fencing installation
* Compression fittings for kitchen fit-outs
* Guttering repair and installation
* Floor laying and maintenance
Health, Safety and Quality
* Act in the best interests of BJF and clients on site
* Work safely and to high standards
* Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing of team and promote a positive safety culture

Requirements
* Basic plumbing skills
* MEWP and PASMA qualification (preferable)
* City & Guilds or equivalent qualification
* Ability to assess repairs and complete works with minimal guidance
