Join to apply for the Site Engineer role at Murphy. Murphy is recruiting for a Site Engineer to work with the Energy Team on the SSE ASTI Project. Responsibilities
* Accurate setting out of the works and dimensional control.
* Resolving technical problems at all levels.
* Carry out inspections in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan in a timely manner.
* Produce survey information and red-lined drawings for the completion of the as-built records.
* Ensure equipment is calibrated, in date and suitable checked in accordance with company policies and the manufacturers’ requirements.
* Oversee construction operations to ensure they are carried out in accordance with the Contract requirements using the appropriate procedures.
* Ensure all site personnel have clear, accurate and appropriate information to carry out their duties.
* Supervise outputs and confirm that project environmental requirements are met.
* Manage materials on site to be suitable, stored in line with manufacturer’s recommendations, current working practices, contract specification or project requirements.
* Assist the Site Management team to update KPIs, material reconciliation and progress reports.
Qualifications
* Degree qualified Civil Engineering or similar.
* Previous experience in an Engineer role.
* Experience on Construction or Civil Engineering projects.
* Experience in surveying and setting out techniques.
* Sound understanding of Quality, Safety, Health, Environmental and Sustainability project requirements.
