We’re looking for an experienced and driven Operations Manager to take control of our day-to-day operations and ensure every project runs efficiently, professionally, and to the highest standard.
This is a hands‑on role focused on improving performance across our site teams, ensuring jobs are completed on time, materials are managed correctly, and communication between site and office is consistent and accurate.
You’ll play a key role in strengthening accountability, improving systems, and driving standards across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Team & Site Management
* Manage roofing teams and ensure daily tasks are clearly planned and executed
* Hold teams accountable for performance, time management, and quality of work
* Liaise with supervisors and the office team to ensure smooth project delivery
* Address performance issues and ensure high standards are maintained across all sites
Project Oversight
* Oversee live projects to ensure work is completed on time and to specification
* Carry out regular site visits and inspections
* Ensure all required compliance documentation is completed.
Materials & Efficiency
* Manage materials across projects to reduce waste and unnecessary costs
* Ensure teams are properly organised to avoid delays
* Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
Health, Safety & Compliance
* Ensure RAMS are completed, understood, and signed by all team members
* Maintain high standards of health & safety across all sites
* Ensure teams are compliant with training requirements and arrange additional training where needed
Systems & Process Improvement
* Use and manage systems
* Build, implement, and improve SOPs
* Identify inefficiencies and introduce better ways of working
Customer Experience
* Liaise with customers where required to maintain a professional service
* Ensure a smooth customer journey from start to completion
* Support the delivery of high levels of customer satisfaction and positive reviews
