You’ll be part of a collaborative team working across key sectors like aerospace and orthopaedics. What You’ll Be Doing: Take ownership of the manufacturing process from concept through to production Lead and manage multiple engineering projects and provide early risk identification Represent Engineering in daily operations meetings and drive actionable solutions Provide cost estimates and technical input for quotations Use CAM software (Hypermill, MasterCam) to program multi-axis CNC machines Design fixtures and tooling using CAD software (ideally Siemens NX) Create in-process documentation and ensure technical accuracy of prints Continuously improve machining processes to reduce cycle times and costs Troubleshoot production issues using 8D or DMAIC methodologies Work cross-functionally with Quality, Planning, Production, and Customer teams What We’re Looking For: Essential Skills & Experience: Strong CNC programming and machining background CAM software experience: Hypermill, Mastercam, or Vericut CAD design experience, preferably Siemens NX Proficient in GD&T and interpreting technical drawings Understanding of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement Confident using ERP systems (BOMs, routings, item masters) Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Desirable: Industry experience in aerospace and/or orthopaedics Knowledge of process capability and measurement systems Skilled in cost estimating and project tracking Qualifications: Time-served apprenticeship or degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering 5 years in a similar role Why Apply?
