Job Description
Job Duties:
* Ensure the school premises are clean, safe, and well-maintained
* Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
* Monitor and maintain heating, lighting, and security systems
* Manage waste disposal and recycling processes
* Assist with setting up for events and activities
Required Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills
Education:
* GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
Experience:
* Experience in caretaking or facilities management
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of basic maintenance tasks
* Knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment
* Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently
Preferred Qualifications:
* First Aid certification
* Health and Safety training
Working Conditions:
* Flexible working hours
* Physical work may be required
* Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment
* Occasional weekend or evening work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
