About Caledonian Braves F.C.
Caledonian Braves is a modern Scottish football club built on bold ideas, innovation, and a commitment to our growing community of supporters. Since our founding, we've aimed to challenge tradition and redefine what a football club can be — progressive, connected, and fan-focused.
We're now looking for a creative, football-obsessed Social Media & Community Manager to lead our online presence and bring the spirit of the Braves to life across all digital platforms, including the club website and app.
The Role
This is a hands-on and strategic role for someone who can both shape our digital voice and deliver daily content that excites, informs, and unites our community. You'll be responsible for every aspect of our digital output — from social media and website/app updates to content planning, production, community management, and analytics.
As the dedicated media lead at Caledonian Braves, you'll have the opportunity to build something special: growing our following, deepening fan relationships, and showcasing our identity to the world.
Key Responsibilities
●
Develop and execute a social media strategy that grows reach, engagement, and community loyalty.
● Create engaging, original content across X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, the club website, and the club app.
● Manage day-to-day posting and live matchday coverage — capturing the emotion and energy of the Braves.
● Maintain and update the club website and app with news, match content, and key information.
● Build and nurture relationships with fans online, ensuring every interaction reflects the club's values.
● Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing, partnerships, and media initiatives.
● Track, analyse, and report on performance metrics to inform strategy and drive continuous improvement.
● Stay ahead of football media trends and new platform opportunities.
About You
●
Passionate about football and immersed in fan culture, especially within Scotland.
● Proven experience running professional social channels — ideally for a club, team, or entertainment brand.
● Strong creative skills: video, photography, copywriting, and storytelling.
● Confident using analytics tools and social scheduling platforms.
● Highly proactive, organised, and adaptable — comfortable working solo and under pressure.
● Willing to work flexible hours, including matchdays and weekends.
● Proven ability to edit videos for vertical video platforms.
Why Join the Braves?
At Caledonian Braves, you'll have the freedom to experiment, create, and define the voice of a truly modern football club. This is a rare opportunity to make an immediate impact — shaping how the world sees and connects with our team, our players, and our supporters.
