Graduate Town Planner | Permanent | Manchester\n\n£26,000 - £28,000 per annum Plus Benefits\n\nRef: DB041\n\nA brilliant opportunity for an ambitious graduate to join a highly respected consultancy that has a large planning team nationwide. They work across a wide range of sectors and projects from small residential extensions to large-scale regeneration schemes. Areas of specialism include urban mixed-use developments, housing, retail, sports venues, energy infrastructure, master planning, urban design, environmental impact assessments, community engagement, and heritage planning.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications for a wide range of developments\n\n * Support the assembly of evidence and documentation required for planning submissions and appeals\n\n * Conduct research into planning policy, site constraints, and development potential\n\n * Liaise with local authorities, clients, and other stakeholders throughout the planning process\n\n * Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams on complex projects\n\n * Gain exposure to negotiations involving Section 106 agreements and Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL)\n\n * Contribute to both major regeneration schemes and smaller-scale local projects\n\nRequirements\n\n * RTPI-accredited degree in Town Planning or related discipline\n\n * Interest in Planning\n\n * Strong analytical skills\n\n * Excellent communication, written and verbal\n\n * Proactive and collaborative attitude\n\n * Full UK Driving License\n\nBenefits\n\n * 25 days annual leave\n\n * Pension\n\n * Company mobile phone & laptop\n\n * Training and APC costs covered\n\n * Social activities\n\n * Discretionary bonus scheme\n\n * Cycle to Work Scheme\n\n * Many more!\n\nInterested?
