Reward
£37,700 – £54,200 according to experience (a graded reward package for new entrants to renewables through to the most experienced Wind Turbine Technicians).
Working Hours
New Technician (37 hrs) plus overtime is available.

What you’ll do
* Become a multi‑skilled Authorised Technician under the EDFR Wind Turbine Safety Rules, working on one or more turbine variants.
* Opportunity to become a High Voltage Single Feed Senior Authorised Person under EDFR E&M Safety Rules.
* Undertake major component (gearbox, generator, transformer, etc.) replacements.
* Fault‑find and repair complex electrical, hydraulic and converter systems both remotely and at the wind turbine.
* Complete scheduled maintenance to high standards and take pride in the assets you maintain.
* Complete internal and external technical and safety training to develop your skills.
* Typically work in a two‑person working party within a supportive team environment.

What skills do you need
You’ll be a skilled engineer with great electrical maintenance experience, having worked on three‑phase systems or heavy plant electrical. Previous experience on wind farms is beneficial, but not essential – we can train you to multi‑skill.
Location
Dorenell Visitor Centre, Nether Ardwell, Lower Cabrach, Huntly, AB54 4EL. For this role, you will generally be located within 45 minutes of the site and have a full UK driver’s licence.
