Role Summary
KDN Tax & Legal’s solutions (e.g., Indirect Tax Compliance, Global Mobility Services, and Legal Managed Services) operate like a sub-function department of up to 1000 staff across five different geographies. The KDN Global Solution Lead acts like a “mini-CEO” of the respective KDN Solution. In that capacity, a KDN Global Solution Lead is accountable for the overall business performance of a solution, including quality, client centricity, technology and process innovation, and its P&L. The role is part of the T&L COO organization to ensure consistency across solutions, and is then “attached” to specific solutions.

How you will make your mark
Operational Performance & Execution
* Oversee the business execution of KDN's global IDT solution, focusing on operational levers across the entire team supporting KDN IDT. Collaborate closely with KDN Delivery Centre Heads, IDT Delivery Leads, KDN Finance/IT/HR, Tax Technology, and engagement leaders/managers.
* Assist the Solution Owner in gathering materials and presenting the business performance and health of the solution.
* Lead the annual planning and reforecasting for IDT, monitor actuals versus plan, analyze engagement profitability, DSO, utilization, pipeline, backlog, and transition-outs, and drive execution to optimize opportunities and mitigate risks.
* Facilitate IDT leadership meetings with key stakeholders, including KDN's Head of T&L, COO, CEO, Global Head of Indirect Tax, and Global COO of KPMGI for T&L.
* Define and manage key business performance metrics for the IDT Solution.
* Ensure effective execution of business levers impacting revenue and contribution margin, including pricing, profitability, and billing management.
* Align revenue pipeline with staffing plans and adjust as necessary.
* Develop a structured framework for the Solution's business plan, highlighting key metrics reported monthly.
* Lead and motivate teams to achieve project goals and support strategic decisions with analysis.
Projects
* Drive transformational projects, such as the rollout of engagement management roles to transform engagement handling across KDN.

* Solid P&L management experience with a commercial mindset in professional services. A background in financial planning & analysis or CPA/CA qualification is advantageous.
* Desire to operate in a global, multicultural environment with complex dynamics.
* Executive presence with strong leadership, people management, and influencing skills.
* Ability to quickly understand business drivers and lead operational changes to meet goals.
* A mindset of continuous improvement for quality and efficiency.
* Excellent communication skills, including business storytelling, with proficiency in PowerPoint and PowerBI.
* Structured approach to business management and understanding of professional services accounting and P&L impact.
