UK Tax Manager - 18 month fixed term contract Cantello Tayler recruitment is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Manager to take ownership of UK tax compliance and reporting for our clients UK entities. This role offers a broad range of responsibilities covering corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and group reporting. Ideal for a candidate with a strong compliance background and a desire to broaden their advisory exposure. Key Responsibilities: Take responsibility for all UK corporate tax compliance, including: Preparation and submission of UK corporation tax returns Calculation of quarterly instalment payments Reporting to Group Finance on tax compliance matters Prepare tax computations ensuring optimal use of tax reliefs and allowances (e.g. CFC, capital allowances) Deliver accurate tax disclosures for audited financial statements Review and submit quarterly VAT returns Prepare Corporate Interest Restriction (CIR) calculations Support with transfer pricing calculations and documentation Assist with other direct tax compliance such as: Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) filings Pillar 2 compliance Country-by-Country Reporting (CBCR) JCFC reporting UK Tax Strategy updates Prepare and submit quarterly tax charge reporting, including: Tax packs for UK entities Posting of tax journals to SAP (CIT, DT, Group relief) Lead preparation of: Bi-annual forecast of current year tax charge Annual tax charge plan Support JSOX compliance for UK Direct Tax Assist with HMRC correspondence (residency certificates, enquiries, etc.) Liaise with external advisors on tax advisory matters and ad hoc tax queriesCandidate Profile: Qualifications: Accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, ACA) essential CTA qualification desirable Experience: Trained in practice, ideally in a corporate tax compliance role First or second move into industry Some advisory experience beneficial Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office, especially Excel Personal Attributes: Team player with strong work ethic Self-motivated and detail-oriented Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organisational skillsIf this UK Tax Manager role is of interest to you, please click apply now or contact Charlotte Harding in our Egham office
