About the role…
Working with the in-store team, your role will be to manage and maintain Harvey Nichols' VM standards, ensuring the highest standards are showcased to our clients.
* Conduct daily VM standard checks with the shop floor team, ensuring areas are well maintained, and follow up on maintenance or cleaning needs.
* Perform VM rotations across all floors and categories following a shared calendar with the Store General Manager.
* Use sales data to make informed VM changes to drive business performance.
* Collaborate with stakeholders on projects like pop-ups, in-store events, and ad hoc requests, maintaining high VM standards.
* Partner with store operations and stock teams to ensure product displays are accurate and stock needs are met.
* Conduct VM training sessions for the store team, providing necessary information and tools.
* Implement seasonal schemes in-store and in windows, working with local suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
* Share VM reports with the HO VM Team and store them on SharePoint for record-keeping.
* Manage signage and VM tools, ensuring they are well maintained and replaced when needed.
* Ensure all equipment is maintained correctly and that a safe environment is upheld for customers, staff, and suppliers.
* Ensure VM installations comply with statutory H&S and risk assessment standards, training the store team accordingly.

* Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with high attention to detail
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Creative visual merchandising skills and aesthetic sensibility, with experience styling/merchandising multiple categories
* Receptive to feedback and able to follow direction
* Adaptable to a fast-paced, reactive environment with changing priorities
* Keen interest in the fashion industry
* Experience in VM within retail or luxury fashion
* Experience in VM planning, coordination, and execution
* Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, PowerPoint, and Excel
* Good digital photography skills and a sense of composition
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Creative Visual Design discipline or equivalent
