Hours 20 to 30 hours per week, can be agreed to suit successful candidate!

We’re looking for a sharp, proactive Sales and Production Co‑ordinator to become the vital link between our customers, sales team, and production shop floor. You’ll be based at our small and friendly Salisbury site, and help keep orders moving, schedules aligned, and communication seamless — playing a key role in delivering on time, every time.

Experience in sales support, production planning or customer service is required. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and loves keeping things running like clockwork.

Responsibilities

* Act as a point of contact for customer enquiries, order updates, and service requests.
* Prepare and issue quotations, proposals, and sales documentation.
* Process sales orders accurately and ensure all required information is complete.
* Perform office duties; answering the telephone, directing calls, emails.
* Translate confirmed sales orders into the loading board sheet.
* Liaise closely with production teams to ensure capacity, materials, and timelines are aligned.
* Monitor workflow progress and proactively address potential delays or issues.
* Update internal systems with real‑time production status and communicate changes to relevant teams.
* Assist in inventory checks and highlight stock shortages or material requirements.
* Prepare orderbook updates to share with customer facing colleagues.
* Work with Sales/Engineering/Quality to have permits signed off and stored within the company archive.


Qualifications & Skills

* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Customer‑focused with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
* Previous experience in sales support, production planning, or customer service (required).
* Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or operational environment (preferred).
