Job Description We are recruiting for a permanent CNC Turner (Setter Operator) for a global precision engineering company based in Christchurch, Dorset. Salary is £19 to £22 per hour depending on experience. 37 hours per week Monday to Friday Main CNC Turner duties and responsibilities: To correctly set the CNC machine and tooling and to operate CNC machines to process the part to the required specifications To machine parts to agreed specifications and to customer requirements using detailed drawings, layouts and other technical information provided To ensure machines are fit for purpose by performing routine maintenance according to approved methods Carry out inspection, including first-off inspection using gauges and measuring instruments To ensure the work area conforms to the company 5S standards by returning tooling to specified storage areas and to remove waste appropriately To apply for this position please submit an up to date CV and we will be in touch in due course.
