and main responsibilities
To provide support to the secretaries within the department.
To support the fracture clinic bookings team.
To type clinical letters, ward round notes, operation notes and general correspondence from audio dictation.
Use the Trust’s computerised systems to enter and retrieve patient-related information as required, including Clinical Record Tracking, CaMIS and Electronic Patient Record.
Undertake any secretarial and clerical duties required by the team including any non-clinical administration duties as requested by the team.
To work as part of a team and to liaise with other team members to ensure most appropriate secretarial and administrative support is provided.

Technical Skills and Competencies
Essential criteria
1. Good written communication skills
2. Able to demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently
Language Requirement

3. Able to speak English as necessary to undertake the role
Qualifications
Essential criteria
4. Good standard of general education to include GCSE (or equivalent) in English and numeracy.
5. RSA II or equivalent with good level of speed and accuracy.
Desirable criteria
6. Working in healthcare organisation.
