IT Business Analyst
Location: Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, or Liverpool + Hybrid working

The IT Business Analyst will help enhance digital solutions, modernize our workflows, and create value for the firm. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business problems, refine processes, define requirements, and design solutions across multiple initiatives.
Role Overview
As an IT Business Analyst, you will:
* Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
* Work with stakeholders through interviews, workshops, surveys, and other methods to identify and document business requirements and populate product backlogs.
* Prioritize requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Validate requirements with stakeholders and assess their feasibility with technical teams.
* Apply a first principles approach to process and technology improvements, recommending solutions that support strategic value drivers such as value creation, operational efficiency, modern ways of working, and business protection.
* Collaborate with development teams to implement process changes and monitor their impact.
* Continuously seek opportunities to optimize business processes and systems.
* Solution Design and Validation:
* Work closely with technical, development, product, design, and project colleagues to ensure solutions meet business needs and deliver value.
* Provide feedback and suggestions for improvements based on testing and operational monitoring.
* Stakeholder Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Facilitate meetings and updates to keep stakeholders engaged and informed.
* Address and resolve issues or concerns promptly.
Qualifications and Minimum Criteria
* Proven experience as a technology-focused Business Analyst using industry-standard techniques to improve processes and gather requirements.
* Experience in process improvement and capturing requirements from first principles.
* Understanding of software development lifecycle, frameworks, and technology implementation projects.
* Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar.
* Ability to travel for in-person meetings.
* Excellent communication skills at all levels.
It would be advantageous if you also have:
* A technology or developer background, with exposure to Microsoft M365, Power Platform, SharePoint, Azure, Workday, GenAI.
* Relevant professional certifications.
* Knowledge of professional services or partnership organizations.
