Data Support Officer – 3 month contract- Edinburgh OR Glasgow - £155 per day via umbrella
One of Loriens leading Public Sector Clients are looking for a highly experienced Data Support Officer to join their team on an initial 3-month contract.
The position is based in Edinburgh or Glasgow and will require you to work a hybrid working model.
Assignment Description
* To support and influence the implementation and delivery of strategies in inventory & materials control.
* To carry out stock takes within Health Board clinical areas to support the rollout of the Scan for Safety Programme.
* To assist in data collection and stock management.
* To assist in providing training to clinical staff on the use of handheld barcode scanners.
* To effectively carry out inventory duties, ensuring that the targets, policies and procedures of the Health Board in terms of stock management and control are adhered to.
1. Essential Skill Set
* Knowledge of inventory management processes and a full understanding of the mechanics of stock management best practices.
* Good working knowledge of mainstream commercial e-Procurement, Logistics, Finance and associated solutions
* Skills in data collection, extraction, analysis and dissemination of product and stock management information.
* Analytical skills
* Experience of working flexibly with team members and customers across a variety of business settings.
