The role
We are looking for Damp and Mould Multiskilled Operatives to work within the repairs team. If you’re a skilled tradesperson with a passion for improving homes and helping customers live safely and comfortably, this could be the perfect role for you.
You will work as part of the Repairs Team to deliver a customer centric damp and mould service, able to effectively carry out mould treatments.
Provide empathetic advice to customers on managing and preventing damp and mould.
Perform multi-trade repairs works to a high standard. Identifying emergency repairs whilst on site
Escalation of complex emergency works requiring an emergency Surveyor visit.
You’ll complete Responsive Repairs first time wherever possible, work with Schedulers to ensure all actions are communicated and processed and carry out sustainable repairs to prevent re-occurrence of repairs.
About you
You will have proven experience and skills of working as a multi-skilled tradesperson, across multiple trade areas along with demonstrable experience in a base trade of Plumbing or Carpenter
Knowledge of, or willing to undertake training on, damp and mould causes, effects and treatments is essential.
Demonstrate a caring and empathetic approach with customers when working within their homes
An NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or Carpentry or equivalent qualification would be desirable.
You will need to have a working knowledge of health and safety and the ability to use / learn mobile software.
Applicants must also have a clean driver's licence and their own trade tools. A tool allowance can be claimed upon completion of probation.
This post requires that the job holder is subject to a DBS check at Basic level.
