This role works as part of the Jameson Divisional Quality Governance team leading on the safety and quality governance agenda across the division including the boroughs of Brent, Harrow, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster.
The role is responsible for the day-to-day management of the divisional Quality Governance Team and their functions.
Main duties of the job
This role is mainly responsible for the management of patient safety incident investigations and learning, patient feedback, implementation of quality priorities, risk management and clinical audit activity.
The post holder will build close positive working relationships with services and other stakeholders supporting and enabling services to fulfil key safety and quality governance requirements and provide assurance in line with national and regulatory guidance. This will include attendance and reporting to key trust-wide, divisional and borough quality meetings.
The post holder will build and maintain key working relationships with clinical and non-clinical staff within the division and outside agencies (such as the ICB, CQC, quality networks and other service providers) to support the improvement of safe and high quality services across Jameson Division.

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
This role includes the implementation of the National Patient Safety Strategy, Patient Safety Incident Response Framework and Learning from Patient Safety Events guidance.
This includes - patient safety incident reporting and investigation, learning from incidents, collection and reporting of patient feedback, real-time reporting of safety and quality indicators (such as the use of restrictive practice, physical health assessment for patients with serious mental illness, falls prevention), national safety alerts, identification of risk and risk mitigation, clinical and national audit.
