Location: London, EC4Y 0DY Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum plus Sodexo benefits Contract: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Job Purpose Sodexo is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead and motivate a dedicated on-site security team at a prestigious London site for a leading FMCG client. This is a high-profile role where professionalism, discretion, and exceptional customer service are essential. You will oversee day-to-day security operations, ensure full compliance with procedures, and act as a key point of contact for incidents, playing a vital role in protecting people, property, and assets. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Compliance Lead, supervise, and support a team ofnine security officers Ensure full compliance with site assignment instructions, health & safety policies, and procedures Support training, development, and performance standards across the team Site Security Operations Control site access including gates, barriers, turnstiles, and visitor/contractor passes Manage collections, deliveries, couriers, and driver access Conduct regular patrols and monitor the site via CCTV systems Activate and deactivate alarms and respond appropriately to incidents Incident & Emergency Response Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies including protests, evacuations, and critical or panic alarms Ensure accurate, timely, and professional incident reporting Act as a visible and reassuring presence during incidents Operational & Administrative Support Oversee reception duties, out-of-hours mail handling, telephone cover, and email correspondence Support site operations including lost property management and other ad-hoc requirements Liaise with site stakeholders, client representatives, and Sodexo management as required What You Bring Essential Valid and in-dateSIA Door Supervisor Licence First Aid Certification Proven experience in a corporate security environment or similar role Strong observational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive in emergency situations Good understanding of security procedures and best practice Desirable Previous supervisory or team-leading experience Why Sodexo?: Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
